Serie A side Napoli have joined Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid as Liverpool’s potential opponents in the Audi Cup in Germany this pre-season.
For Bayern, the tournament will be their final friendly outing ahead of their Super Cup showdown against Borussia Dortmund, which takes place on August 5.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are set to welcome Athletic to Anfield before getting their Premier League campaign under way on August 12 against Watford.
Liverpool are unbeaten in pre-season so far, but Bayern Munich will be a significant step up in quality compared to the teams that they have already faced.
The 2017 Audi Cup will be the fifth edition of the Audi Cup, a two-day association football tournament that will feature four teams and be played at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. The competition will feature the hosts and 2015 winners Bayern Munich, Spanish side Atlético Madrid, English side Liverpool, and Italian side S.S.C. Napoli

The Audi Cup also includes Atletico Madrid and Napoli who also play on Tuesday with the two winners and the two losers going on to face each other on Wednesday.

The Premier League campaign will kick off on August 12, with Jurgen Klopp‘s side travelling to Watford for their season opener.

Bayern are playing on home turf and are considered favourites at 8/15, according to dabblebet, while Liverpool can be backed at 4/1. A draw is available at 10/3.
